We want each and every guest to discover our RRG cabin for themselves and find out why our guests return again and again. My name is Joy Massey and I am the general’s daughter. My father was born not 3 miles from the site of this cabin and returned to the area of his birth following an illustrious military career as a Flying Tiger, test and fighter pilot. I renovated and have offered my father’s stunning cabin as a vacation rental since 2004.
My husband, Michael and I are totally hands on with our cabin and property. We don’t have strangers tending to a home that means so much to us, and we want our guests to know they are receiving the very best when they show up at our door. In fact, more guests than I can count have commented on how relaxing and peaceful the property and cabin are, and that they were able to reconnect with their loved ones during their stay. Sometimes taking time away from the craziness of life can bring about those changes.
The General’s Cabin is a unique and special destination best appreciated by seeing it for yourself; a feeling best described by happy guests who say ” I feel so at home.” We hear that all the time and can’t imagine a bigger compliment. We have filled it with comfortable furniture, excellent bedding and all the extras that will make your stay comfortable. Many guests reserve to explore the surrounding areas at Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge, but many say that instead, they remained at the cabin enjoying what we have to offer.
